Default 67 wheel tire combo

Can I fit 17's on a mustang coupe. I have a set of 22545r17 laying around in the garage and thought I might be able to use them. I think they will be too tall, but thought I would ask someone with experience. Thanks

Depends on the backspacing of the 17s and how wide they are.

well you have them already so put em on and try lol

assuming they are the right backspacing, yes they will work and will look good. 67/68 coupes look very nice with 17s.

I just have the slick not the wheel so I thought if they would work I would go get a wheel for them thought some 17x8 with my tire would be nice. I think they will extrude from the side a little but that is fine for the track long as they dont rub.

Of course, you may find the rears to be a little too narrow, but they'll fit on a '66 so they'll definitely fit on a '67.

i have 17x8s with 245/45/17 rear and 225/45/17 front and they dont stick out past my fender flares. as a matter of fact they are downright perfect
