Budget 68 Resto-Mod 4.6 DOHC. (All my work condensed)
That was done in google sketchup, its free and fairly simple to use but it has a limited tool set compared to something like Autodesk Maya and it doesn't have a built in rendering program so you would have to export your model to something else to do a render or buy one of the plugins. But like I said its free so its a good program to start with until you get the hang of it.
good job, just wished I could download you and upload you into my life ROFL

I thought about it at one time but being a college student I don't have the cash. The quarter skins were only $200 it would have cost 10x that to convert it to a fastback. I want something different anyway so I'm thinking about cutting the top and making a removable hardtop.
It takes a while to get used to it. Yes I downloaded a model and worked from it. I'm not good enough yet to do the whole car. I got my model from here http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/ Search for mustang and a lot of models will come up. The ones for coupes weren't very good so I modified a fastback.
I decided to go with a clean sleek look so I shave the doors and drip rails. The drip rails still need some work. This was nearing the end of my summer so I didn’t get time to finish some of the things I was working on. I prepped it and shot it with a coat of epoxy primer so it didn’t set around and get surface rust all over.

For the most part that is how the project has remained since August. Over spring break sale I got a chance to do a few things.
I couldn’t use the stock tank so I welded up my own to be used with the Mark VIII in tank pump.
I also built a custom hood scoop over break.

The last thing I did before I left for college was finish up the rear section of frame under the trunk floor.
