Default old engine out, new engine in :-)

Hi all,

the new engine is in (since the weekend).
So all what's left is to hook up the electrical fuel pump (i'll use a relay) and the ignition system.
Then I should be able to turn the key. See if it turns over. and when it does, will it start.
I'm just about to catch a flu, so I'm quite unsure if I'll mnage tonight.

Here's a few pics, what do you think?

I was going to say a GM product because it appears that it's missing the front clip but then I looked again and realized that its the rear of the car. Or am I completely wrong?

you're looking at the front of the car. you can see the trunk being open at the end of the picture and parts of the engine through my rear window.... but they're all different. The whole body is bolted to the chassis. you can lift the whole thing off the frame ;-)

Looking good. I don't like the flex hoses though. You people all have much nicer looking engine comp's than I do, so I am getting ready to pull my motor so that I can clean it up and repaint it. Only been in a year but, blew a radiator which messed it up.

Nice thing about them is that it don't take long to hook it all up, huh?

i don't find them too bad (tyhose flwx hoses). The nice thing is that both of them are spring loaded so they won't collapse
