1966 pony interior touch up
hey everyone, ive decided to touch up the instrument panel along with the door on my 66. it has the pony interior and i was wondering if anyone had this color as well, an if they did what type of paint they used and what color. i am trying to avoid spraying it because i dont want to get paint on the other parts of the car. HEre is a photo of my interior

If you end up having to spray it try CJ's. They have rattle cans that they say are factory matching. I got paint for my doors and it turned out great. If you have to rattle can just mask the hell out of what you don't want done.

This was a perfect match to original color on my doors. It also has a nice vertical spray pattern which gives very good results. It runs easily so be careful. I probably bought this from John's Mustang.

The dash looks pretty nice to me, besides that one knick on the ash tray. I feel like spraying it would give it the best most even look, just mask it off really well. I used the paint from California Mustang and was pleased with how well it matched the seats color but I redid everything so I can't speak for it's authenticity to original

That dash down't look bad at all. I would just touch it up. Make sure you get paint from a good mustang restoration supplier like Mustangs Unlimited or one of the other popular ones. I would just spay the paint on a separate pc of cardboard and get a thin painters brush(fine) and dab it in the paint and touch up that spot.
