My new project
I've known for the last month about a 65 I was going to purchase. I didn't want to say anything until I sealed the deal, which was today. There are so many extra parts it'll take me a good weekend to haul them home. The deal was all or none. So, needless to say I have to haul off the parts car too. He said there were extra doors, deck lid, 9" rear, bench seat, several set of other seats, air conditioning, etc. The storage room was screwed shut but I was able to snap a pic through a hole. There is also what looked like a standard trans and a 289. He said there is not one spec of rust anywhere (on the good car).

That may the gentleman's heritage. If he wasn't proud of it I'm sure he wouldn't have it on his wall. I rather like it myself. It's part of American history. What people have recently tried to make it is obviously your perception.

I paid $1500 for the whole deal. I don't know what all is there but I'll sure find out next weekend!

losers dont get to fly your flag. you lost haha
It was the flag of an openly white supremacist regime who broke away from the US so they could continue to own Black people. If you identify with THAT part of your heritage, I must admit I find that rather sad. Really, it's a part of Southern history, but one that should conjure up embarrassment and thoughts of "never again."

They must be planning a comeback because I see it plain as day. As a matter of fact, it wouldn't be a bad idea as of January 20, 2009.

i know the southerners like to think of it as southern pride and heritage and whatnot and thats all fun and cute, but they lost, so what is there really to be proud about?
