Default Big difference..

The stance of a car has a huge impact on how it looks, if everything else is right about a car, but it is sitting wrong, it will look like carp. No it isnt done yet, but I was having some fun this morning with PhotoShop and decided the ol Cougar needed some new wheels and an attitude adjustment. Hard to imagine where this car started and how it looks now. I didnt shop anything on the body, just wheels and the way its sitting.. a little background too...

This is where it started..

An idea of how much crud was under it before hours with a blasting hood...

It isnt dropped in front yet, it still has the gasser look, but it is almost entirely together now.

Have to agree. The car looks great (glad somebody else likes Cougars), but the *** end is too low. It's near-undriveable at that point, there just isn't enough room under the fender well for any suspension travel. The front is probably too low as well, doesn't look like you'd be able to turn the wheels.

When its finally drivable it will probably be stock height in back and a bit higher in front. I like those wheels on it, but it will probably wear some slots I have laying around, or chrome reverse steel wheels that are holding up the Mustang right now.. for a while..

Taking donations for the completion!

Keep in mind, stock ride height front/rear gives the car a slight reverse rake. You definitely don't want to go higher than stock in front. Usually a 1" drop in the back and 1.5-2" drop up front levels the car out.

i _do_ understand that people like those BFG radial T/As. they are great looking, but in my opinion those shuld never be mounted on any performance car. they have no grip whatsoever. So if the only thing you plan to do is smoking them instead of driving them go ahead. in rain they are a desaster. I drove them twice and couldn't believe how bad they are

that looks amazing, but IMO you need to raise the rear a bit
