Default Installing Custom seats buckets

I purchased custom buckets for my 68 Mustang. The hardware for the underside of the seats is a little wider than stock. Stock is 16" wide and the new product is 16.5" wide how can i install the new stuff? What size holes would i need to drill for the new holes to go more narrow? is this a good answer? is there a way to use the 16.5" hardware that came with the car? Thanks so much in advance...

Make brackets to bolt them to your factory seat sliders.
