Help! with my car

My car 68 mustang was running perfect and all of a sudden it runs rough and doesn't stay started. points new and practically everything new as my dad built it from scratch 2 years ago. What could it be???

did it happen right after a fill up? maybe just a batch of bad gas?

Sorry, but your description doesn't help much. Can you give any more detail. For example does it run rough at idle, mid range, high speed, only under acceleration....... Also, any checks you have done already.
