Default what kind of tips?

I just got the exhaust done on my 66 coupe. Tri-Y's H- pipe and magnaflow mufflers. I knew what I wanted up until this point but now am at an indecisive point. I can't decide what type of tips to put on it. I don't care about how it may affect the sound and I don't want huge and gawdy, but I don't really like the original funnel type of the 65-66's. I'm kind of leaning towards the dual tips kinda like the 67-on. Can you guys give me rear shots of 65-66's with different tips so I can make up my mind? Thanks.

I prefer the simple turn down.

I don't care for "gaudy" either, especially on car exhaust systems (Harley pipes would be a different story). Just leave the 2-1/4" or 2-1/2" pipes a little long so they just peek out from under the valance. A simple, subtle, and all-business kind of look.

Edit - I guess since you've already had the rest done, you'd have to add short lengths of pipe instead of leaving them long to begin with if you fabbed the pipes yourself.

I use High-Temp black paint, and occasionally I have to re-spray them, but five minutes work every year or two is nothing.

Borla ftw! I love these tips and especially the Intercooled tips. The Single Square Intercooled ones are my favorite.

I like this style as well, and I want to do it on my 67 (currently has single exhaust with turndown) when I upgrade to dual exhaust sometime in the next few months.. I was wondering if you knew if I would need to get the rear valence with the exhaust holes in it, or will the tips stick out below it? I prefer not to replace my hole-less valence. If I have to go with turn downs, then it is what it is.
