with quietness i was speaking mostly about exhaust. well my 390 is new, i might as well use it. can you still buy 2 barrels anymore? i never hear people talking about them.

yes you can, a holley 500 2bbl would work good but you'd get worse mpg than using a 500 or even a 600 vacuum secondary carb.

what are you planning on using for a 4 bbl intake since you already have a carb? from what your describing a weiand #8124 would be a perfect fit.

regular performer then, that should be fine for a stock motor.

i'd say so as well. that will be plenty good and driveable on a stocker

what's the carb number ? on the edelbrocks it's on the front on the flange where it's bolted on. something like 1403-1234 stamped there

holley 0-8007. sqare flange, vacuum secondaries.
