Default moving the stick?

If I recall...there is something about if you use a 302 roller in a classic you have to move the oil dipstick but I haven't had any luck finding a "how to" article to do it.

Does anyone know where I can find one?

May have found a 302 roller that is freshly machined but it will need the stick moved....

Just put the early timing cover on it, and the dipstick goes in that. It also doesn't have provision for a mechanical clutch linkage, so you need to either get an adapter bracket or convert to cable/hydraulic.

Don't really need to. It will still fit in the side of the block, or the side of the pan.

Or you can swap front covers. If you do that, be sure and plug the hole in the side of the block.

If you swap the front covers, make sure the water pump matches the cover. Instead of swapping the front covers, you could just drill a hole in it.

This belief started due to the need to change the oil pan to a front sump pan for a classic Mustang requiring the dip stick to be moved to the timing cover.
