Who are you?
I've been a member of this forum for around 10 months now, however i haven't really posted much and i rarely visit. Now that it's summer and i have slightly a tad bit more of time i'd like to get more involved with the site and stick around more often. So ill create this thread telling a bit about myself to get started, and everyone/anyone is welcome to post similiar information about themselves...so yes, this is not really mustang related but more of a get to know everyone on here.
One of the main reasons that i havent been around much on this site is that i'm actually involved in too many forums! that being a big part of another one would probably drain nearly 2 hours of reading/posting time daily. Yes that is a lot of time, but not that bad considering i work on my computer, so i sort of multitask. I'm a moderator on two sites and an admin on one, so i know how this stuff works and im quite a nerd. I work with computers often, own 2 sites, and build sites for a living. I just graduated from high school late May and going to Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC this august.
As you can tell by my name im not american, i'm ukrainian and i moved to the states in 1990, when i was 4. I grew up in NY, lived in Ukraine, Rome, NY, NJ and now NC. A couple years ago i never would have thought i'd own a mustang, but when i was 17 i got it (march 2004) during spring break in winston Salem NC. I didn't know a THING about restoration and old cars, i've learned a lot in the past year and 3 months through community college automotive courses and through mechanical friends. I've spent my friday nights and saturdays for the past 7 months dedicated for work on my car. It's been rough not being able to go out during the weekend because i have class those days, but the work is paying off and my car is looking great. I'm in the final stages of body work.
Thats a little about me, and i hope to be around here more often posting and reading....these forums are defiently a great source for information about help on our cars, i'm really glad someone came up with the idea of creating this site! It has truly helped me through my 15 months of questions.
