Electrical Trouble - Please Help!!
I am having some kind of electrical malfuction. Seems like every other time I drive my car, my instrument panel is dead. The fuel guage, temp, and turn signal indicator stop working. Also, the turn signals and brake lights stop working. It is real strange because every other time I drive it, everything works. I just don't know what exactly I should check. I really appreciate any help with this.

Assuming it's a 65 mustang from the name.
The fuel gage and temp are on separate circuits than the turn indicators, turn signals and brakes. Makes this problem a little harder.
Start by checking the ground wire from your instrument panel to the frame. It's a short black wire that screws into the crossbar behind the cluster. Check for security and corrosion.
Next check the connector where the steering column harness comes out and attaches to the under dash harness. pull that connector apart and check for corrosion, then use some dielectric grease on it and reseat securly.
Also check your connector that attaches to the headlamp switch for anything loose, broken or corroded. The power for the brakes and turn signals and indicators comes into and out of this connection.
