Default Stats from the track...

Well, I ran the '68 down the 1/4 for the first time...

http://www.yeticans.com/eatonraceday/

I'm pretty happy with the results

.1879 - Reaction -corrected from 1.879... Gotta pay attention to that decimal place!
2.1831 - 60ft
5.9762 - 330ft
9.1099 - 1/8 ET
78.82 - 1/8 MPH
11.8232 - 1000'
14.1361 - 1/4 ET
97.40 - 1/4 MPH

Engine = 345HP Ford Racing Crate w/Wieand 8011 intake and a Holley 4160
Trans = C4 w/TCI 3000RPM stall
Diff = 9" w/3:25 gears

The car ran great, but I couldn't hook up with my street tires (P245/60R14). I wanted her into the 13s, and it looks like with some tuning, I should be able to do that no problem. I don't think my diff was locking up either. I only had Tar/rubber on the pass side. It torked me off that I couldn't smoke a LS1 Camaro, but like I said, a little tuning...

I'd be suspicious why only the passenger side was laying rubber.

That is pretty decent all in all.

I think the 71 Boss 351 only did a 13.6 sec quarter.
You are close to that with a 302....

That is pretty decent, but it seems slow with the mods you have. something aint coming out right. Like soaring said I'd be suspicous of that right side also.

Thats a good looking car.

Thanks Stangrr66... the diff used to lock up on the street, I haven't checked it in a while, so I guess it's time for a nice burnout display

My biggest problem was the launch. Couldn't get traction for anything. I had to baby it up to 30mph, then I could romp on it. Kind of negates the torque converter when you can't pre-load it.

By the way, I HATE cleaning up that crap from the track. It took me damn near an hour to get the tar/rubber off the rear quarter. The stuff is worse than undercoating!

If youre pushing 345-400HP its worth spending the money on a locking diff. you'll see a big improvement on your time, Id say if youre having that much trouble getting it catch then youll get it into the low 13s after the diff has been worked on

And if you still have traction problems, look into a traction device.
