now all you need is a pin stripe painted on there to break up the 2 colors.

im a fan of 2 tone but i hate when people do it and dont have a pin stripe to break up the 2 colors.

looks sweet! keep the pics coming

and what is that badass looking defroster vent, is it just that, the defroster vent? Is that an aftermarket system or am I just clueless as to how the 65/66's look

I agree I am definatley going to get a silver metallic to break it up. hand painted though

clueless ;-)

The dash looks painted as well.
Did you paint that or is it just the picture. it looks very shiny. maybe a bit too shiny when driving (reflection) in windscreen but looking great

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I was very nervous how it was going to come out. Pin stripe is going to have to wait for now. I dont want the car to spend one more day at this shop. I want to get the car back in my possesion then ill pin stripe it myself.

kalli-my goal for this was to try to make the lines pop a little more. the 65/66 lines are so subtle. the 67/68 have more aggressive lines. And the dash has the cover removed and smoothed. more of a hot rod look.

and something else that was really cool. I was going through a lot of my dads paper work from when he passed away and look at what i found!
