I'm just curious. I have read that the headers off of the 5.0L mid-80's, 90's mustang will hit the shock tower, but by how much?? I have notched my shock towers on my 70 mustang and am wondering if there is any chance they would fit.

I wouldn't use them regardless. They're very restrictive and not made very well. IMO, you're better off with a set of 351W manifolds, although shorty headers or Tri-y's would be even better.

I'm thinking about aftermarket 5.0L headers, not stock. I can get a set with 1-3/4" primaries pretty cheap if they will fit.
