hiya BA,

a) for the soft 8, you picked 15x8 size. Whatever you decide on, make sure to create another post here to doublecheck on rimsize and offset

b) do NOT get any cheap Cragar wheel that is Chrome plated. I got a set of "quick trick I" which were already horrible looking after 2 months. They rust to pieces. I didn't even drive them so chipping could explain this. I can polish it up no problem, but two weeks down the road they look the same again. I really regret getting them

I'm going with Aero 50 series wheels. 15x7 w/ 4" BS all around wrapped in Goodyear G7 Bluestreak 600 rubber. On a 15x8 I'm pretty sure you will need 4.5" BS. I hate chrome and polished finishes. Don't let anyone discourage you from getting a set of wheels you really want. The only opinion that matters is yours.

Kalli, I will probably just go with 15x7s and use a 1in spacer on the rears. I really like black rims so I doubt that I will get any chrome rims.

Deviousfred, I really like the way that mustang looks. My coupe isn't lowered as much, but it might look similar to that.

that is cool looking alright :-)
i have no spacer in the back. 225/60R15 on 15x7 with 3.75 BS
fits perfect. So hold on with the spacer until you have it all mounted. you might already like the way it looks without them

The reason I am saying I need spacers is the 8" rear end I got is about 2 inches narrower than my old rear end. That makes my front rims stick out further than the rears do. So I would add them to make them even out or close to it.

Now I am considering the Black Ds. They are only 2 dollars more than the Soft 8s and they look really good on that coupe.

Still looking around locally. I think I am set on getting the D Window rims if I don't get any other.

First thing that came to mind was "wagon wheels" If you are patient I am sure you can either save enough for a set of Cragar SS's or find a set on Craigslist.
Sorry, I know you have your heart set on black wheels.
