modern chasis for classic?
thats honestly what im looking at...i used to own an 03 cobra (the one in my pic) but i had to sell it when i lost my job, i race on tracks all the time but now have no car, and i would love to have a roush mustang chassis and suspension on a classic stang, look a drive mean!
From a fabrication stand point I think it would be a lot easier to build a custom frame with the necessary dimensions to allow all the suspension components to bolt up rather than try to cut the body off one car and mate it to the other. But if you really like the idea here is a link for the SN65 mustang if you're not familiar with it they took a 65 fastback body and mated it to an 03 Cobra chassis.http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...oject-car.html
I'm saying this from experience building a frame to use a different suspension and watching the SN95 build. Maybe its just me but I think its easier to build something to fit from scratch.
