Default Tie rod ends - AJE Racing...

What year tie rod ends do I need to connect the R&P to the struts? I see them in the pics which were posted by CPRstreetmachines and know they aren't 67 oem. Would 94-05 Mustang tie rods work? Anyone running AJE setups able to help me out here?

Thanks

They unfortunately didn't.. at this point everything is finally installed & I'd like to just get a set here locally since its 3 weeks shipping to Canada. I've got Napa, Care Quest, and a few other places around I can get them from but not sure just what I should get.

Any idea what replacements are from?

They're not OEM, that's the problem. Depending on when you got them, it's either tapered, maybe not.

Damnit.. When I talked to them prior to ordering I was told all the replacement parts could be locally replaced such as the tie rods, rack, etc.

To date I've had to have a complete k-member and both a-arms remade and shipped to me since they wouldn't fit together. The frame rail supports (piping) were 1/2" too short as were the bolts. One of the struts was machined for a different ball joint so I had to have it machined out to match the other. The for some unknown reason welded in the cotter pin holes at the base of the struts so they needed to be drilled out. The only thing that actually fit was the rack onto the k-member!

It's finally all bolted up minus the tie rods and does look great. That said I can't say I'd ever buy another or recommend their product. Their complete lack of quality control blows me away.

I know you guys have installed a number of them and had good results but really.. when the a-arms will not fit into the k-member pockets and the struts are machined differently and for wrong ball joints something is wrong. If it had just been one thing I could maybe understand.

Nope, we've had our problems for sure. That's why we can only offer support for those who buy it through us. It sux, but there isn't enough time in the day to correct all thos eproblems. We've had people pissing and cussing at us about them, when they bought them from AJE. So we had to stop, and send them back where they bought it. We've spent waaaay too much time on the phone being trying to help and we just can't do it. We really only sell them locally now so we can check them before they go out for that reason.
