289 stock block decoding

Default 289 stock block decoding

Im tring to decode the numbers on the bottom of a block that is stock 289 MOST all the first digit 0 OC5AE-6015E NOT SURE IF STANDS FOR 4 SPEED STANDARD TRANS. THANKS FOR THE HELP

This might help. The engines really were universal. C=60's 5 for the year A for Ford parts after 1958 and E for engine engineering, drivetrain.
