1966 I6 200 to V8 conversion cost?

I have nothing agianst the 6 cylinder cars.

I don't think that 4.10 gears are a good match for it even with a T5 overdrive transmission. The I6's are not high reving motors. That means that don't make power in in the upper rpms they make power in the lower rpms. So you don't need to rev them up high.

No sweat! The engine and tranny will be up for grabs if the current buyer backs out due to my time constraints. You folks can fight over it and the winner takes all. The rice burner crowd brags about their horsepower as well... It's all good. Just not for me.

I just put the tach in mine and I don't think I ever reach 4k. If I can ever get a job, it will get 3.55 gears and paint.
