That chart is not always correct. Good start, but a cam with a lot of valve overlap doesn't follow the normal rules.

That said, if you've got 19-20" at idle, you've got more than enough to work the power booster (and don't have a super aggressive cam). Did you bed the pads properly after installing them? Do you have the right m/c for the setup?

I have OE 4-piston non-power discs on my '67 and I can lock them without much problem. You shouldn't have any problem at all with a power booster.

well we think so,, there is a small cam too but all we have is 15 ,, we put 13" rotor cobra disc on the front with a line lock we first had the line lock hooked up wrong we think its right now you can tell it holds , but not locked up ,, and going down the road it wont lock up either the front or the back ,, now the MC i guess its the right one we got it from a mustang dealer its a power MC duel rev ,,, does it matter about bleeding with it running or not cause of power brakes ????
we are going to try to bleeding again with a hose and jar or fluid
so we will see

thanks

Bleed with the car off.

How did you bed the pads?

Carefully get yourself to a straight section of road with no traffic. Get up to 20mph and quickly brake to ~5mph. Don't stop and don't lock up the brakes, but get down to 5mph as quickly as possible. Get back up to 35mph and quickly brake down to 5mph again. Get up to 50mph and brake down to 5mph. Get back to your garage with as little braking effort as possible and allow the brakes to cool down.
