thanks Scott. Is that for a 65 or a 66? The 65s were 2.125" tall, and I think the 66s were 1.625" tall.

I am thinking the total length is about 14.5" on the 65's (I have another book that I need to look in to confirm). From the left of the "G" to the right of the "0". They are 2 1/8 tall and the upper and lower stripe is 1/2" with 1/2" between them. Also theres 1/2" between the "G" and the "0" to the start of the 2 1/8" stripe. One thing to keep in mind is how it seperates along the door line (split the vinal all the way). To me its not worth the trouble or risk of the tape coming loose and also may look ragged when the door either is open or closed. The 66 design is much better since it sits above the door gap and the edges don't have to roll. Thats what I would use unless you are going for a concours look. Also the stripe on a 65 is positioned 1" below the lower edge of the "C" scallop. If you decide to go with this here is an old trick used in the day to keep the ends secure. Use a dab of clear fingernail polish along the edges to adhear them, and they will stay put. Also I would use only 3M vinal is something close to "Gardsman Blue" for a White car.

Thanks Mike,
I'm getting the stripes painted on because of those issues.
