Default Attempt at center console

Well I really liked the brushed aluminum I put on my glove box and instrument cluster so I tried to make a center console to match. Needs more work and tightening up. gonna add cup holders behind the shifter if I can figure out where to get cylinders for the holders. Switches are going in front of the shifter and two gauges on the vertical part.

OH! and this is a car I saw in Long Beach

you running a cable operated B&M shifter? Curious, why didn't you move the shifter back a couple of inches to make it easier to grab. this is the shifter I'm lookin' at right now, http://www.shiftworks.com/trans-stormer-faq.htm, and gonna make an attempt at a console. Your console looks really good! How bout some side pics?

Oops I posted wrong 3rd pic. I fixed. The shifter is actually moved back 6-8 inches. It now sits right where my arm comes to rest.
