Took the plunge

and added the Guardsman Blue stripes....
I'll be interested to see the reaction at shows now... will it be received...or snubbed...?

Looks like paint to me, or at least they look good enough to be paint anyway.

I think the car looks great with the stripes.

Are you going to the Austin show this year? I see they changed the judging categories, so I don't know if I want to drive from Houston for a third year.

Looks great to me. You can always walk up behind (like your looking too) when someone else is looking, and hear what they say. Thats always fun.

They're painted on with 65 Guardsman Blue Metallic. The scoop is a bolt on that's been faired in with fiberglas.

Not sure yet..I may be in Europe then. I need to go see what's changed with the judging. I hadn't heard that.
