Default Someone help me with 302 pullys Please!!!

OK...we'll call thatthe last resort. Somewhere someone have to have a cheap set of 302 pullys. I mean, its only one of the most popular engines of all time. Anyone want to unload a set they swapped out?

I'm still now entirely sure how to mount the alternator. I have 2 sets of brackets and neither seems to be right. The different setups seem to have to do with the water pumps. mine spins clockwise. and is the newer style. Apperently around 79 they changed styles from cast iron to aluminum. Mine is aluminum.

Here is what I'm looking at:

SOLD !! HOW MUCH FOR IT!! just kidding. Your setup is exactly what I'm looking for. I need to know where you got the water pump pully and the aternator brackets. Part numbers or links would be great but I understand if you don't know them. Thank you for the pics!! I was beginning to give up.

The pulleys are from march performance. you can buy a complete kit from them but not on the cheap.

You can also buy just the water pump pulley by itself. I have a chrome alt pulley with the rib if you want it.

Ill see if I can find a cheap bracket for you on ebay.

when you buy pulleys you better check for the pulley diameters.
I didn't give it any thought, ended up with a HUGE water pump pulley.
That causes underdrive. example: engine 1000rpm, waterpump (and fan) 800rpm
that was overheating my engine in idle and traffic jams
i changed to a smaller pulley at pump, so now I have 1000rpm engine and 1200rpm at pump (50% improvement). This is not the best idea for high rpm engines (loosing HP). but very important info for daily driver

This is good stuff. I called March and the want $90 for just the water pump pulley. They said that if I found a mid 80's crown vic it would have my pulley. I need a serpentine ribbed pulley. Anybody got a good salvage yard close by. Ours SUCK!! I found one locally that I thought might work and the guy wanted $50 for it. jerk.
