What did you have to do with the seat tracks?

 

They are an absolute EZ bolt in, I used the same #266 brackets that my scat seats used, I used sliders from wedge engineering which are the same as scat,flofit and a lot of other aftermarket seats and they bolted right on to the bmw recaro seats and in the correct locations. They sit 3" lower than my scat elites did, just as low as the stockers, just as easy as bolting in a scat seat or any other aftermarket seat but they can be found in the junkyard in 77-83 bmw 320i's and also some vw's but they are made so much better than the aftermarket seats and fit like they were made for an early mustang.

only 1250.00 for the full leather upholstery and the guy did it in 2 days. Talk about comfy and the car smells like a new one now......mmmmmmmm leather gotta keep my dogs out of the garage as they are giant rawhyde bones. In 20 years maybe 4 people rode in the back seat, they were actually done in burgandy leather, I died them black and they looked great but the upholstery guy quoted me 1250.00 front and back but he wanted 1000.00 for the fronts alone so I had hime do both. Actually a really good deal...considering scott drake does flofit seats in stock style vinyl for 1600.00 just for the front seats, I spent about that for the recaros AND front and rear leather.

Very nice. I'll have to keep those in mind in the future, maybe even find some for my fox body project.

 

Those look gorgeous, and I know exactly what those seats are my friend had them in his E30 bmw. The price of the recovering would be too expensive for me but i'm sure it is worth it with how great they look and the fact that its real leather. nice job!
