i have cut the passenger side out and started fitting the new pans. my question is, did they stamp the edges wrong with the lip down. I would have thought that the outside edge would need to be facing upwards./ I plan on selftapping a few screws down when i get it all aligned before welding it up. I am overlapping the new pan a half inch or less. do i need to weld from the bottom as well or just seam sealler it up, followed by undercoating?

another question. what does everyone use to clean the bottom of the car. there is all kinds of road crap along with all the oil dripping spray under there...
