Stock hubcaps and steel wheels, oh yeah. I still haven't figured out which way I want to go yet, maybe when my antenna figures out which way to go too.

But I was actually dreaming and looking around today. Tire Rack has a sale on Torque Thrusts D's right now, not sure about the II's.

I went with another look, Fooses.

I like them, they're different but classic looking.

Remicks, except for the vinyl top, same car, here's how it'll look with 1" lowering springs/Shelby 1" drop and mideye leafs. I plan to paint the spokes matte/satin black to match my hood when I repaint. They are TTD's 15X7 and the stock paint looks too much like primer gray to me. I'm not using any chrome on the engine/car other than what was original so I didn't go with the chrome TT's.

I am going for a TransAm Series theme so I wanted tires that looked fat and filled the wheel well. Although the TTD's seem common, I see more 17" common rims at cruise in's and shows now than 14 or 15" rims. There is still a good selection of 15" tires available (I'm sure 14" is much less) and I can always get slicks in the size I need!

The TT Ds look awesome on 65-68 Mustangs.

No problem at all. I'm going to throw some 1" spacers in the rear for aesthetic reasons.

AJ I just noticed that you are on TMS forums too. That picture of your fastback made me remember the thread you posted in the 2010 section.

Nice car if I do say so. Sounds like you have pretty well the same plans as me. I haven't finalized what wheel I'll being going with yet. But you have the hood with the vents which I plan on getting and probably painting it matte black too if I decide to keep the red, but repaint is far down the road right now. And I like the idea of the TT D's but with the darker center to go with the hood. But I need to get rid of that vinyl top, the sooner the better. Trapped moisture equals bad.

Here is a chop Mustangemd19 was nice enough to do for me with the vinyl removed with the TT D's added.
