Welcome! Post some pics as everyone here loves to see them. I buy most of my stuff from National Parts Depot (NPD) but there is also Mustangs Unlimited, Mustangs Plus, Virginia Classic Mustang, and about a dozen others I'm sure will be mentioned. Summit & Jegs for performance and replacement parts to start with (this list would never end). Napa, Auto Zone, etc you'll also get to know. There is also eBay.

I'd highly suggest getting catalogs from these sites. You can pretty much build a classic Mustang from NPDs catalog.

First priority is to order a printed shop manual. The CD versions are ok but you really want a printed book out in the shop.

Check out Mustang Monthly for their How-To and Tech sections. This is a great site and if you have questions you'll more then likely get a few replies from people regarding questions.

Welcome!!!!!!!

I agree about the manual. I got the CD version and it is just fine. This was very helpful with wiring diagrams because you could blow them up or zoom in.

I wish I had a real paper shop manual.

The Haynes and Chiltons books can be helpful too since they are cheap.

Pictures?

Sweet man, looks very similar to mine (white, 65 coupe 6-cylinder) except I have the pony package.

You should turn the air cleaner so that the snorkel points to the driver's side fender of the car, unless that was temporary or you have fixed it already
