When the car is cold, reverse engages fine. After I drive for a while, reverse does not want to engage unless I rev the engine. It is a c 4. I have checked the fluid and adjusted the bands. What should I do? Joe

 

Sounds like the low-reverse seals are worn. When the trans gets up in temp, the seals are so hard that they stay where they are and the fluid blows by.
