Default How do I know when my engine was made?

I know Ford made some changes to the 200 Inline-6 around late March of 1965. The VIN says my car rolled off the production line on May 11, 1965.

How do I know when my engine was made to see if it was before or after March 29, 1965?

Hmm, I just remembered theres a data plate on the coil that has some engine information.

It's pretty hard to read, but this is what I get out of it:

200 (Displacement)_________65 (model year)_________3 (change level?)

5-D (April of 1965)_________Ford Logo________49-J (engine code)

So wow, looks like mine was just built after March 29, 1965
