Default White smoke and bucking?

I am not near the car but my brother is describing his problems.

1966 Mustang 200ci Straight 6 106k miles 3sp auto

Was driving fine up till this morning. Brother added some trans fluid last night.

Started it up fine then went to put it in gear and all it did was rev a lot.

Finally started connecting and bucking down the road spitting out white smoke.

What's the problem?

Did it overheat? i believe that white smoke is water. It could be a head gasket. Not related to trans.

Not sure if it overheated. The gauge always pegs H about a minute after starting the car. No coolant was lost. No smoking from the engine to indicate overheating. Should I just go ahead and do a full gasket set and see what happens? How else can I check a head gasket problem?

Sounds like a bad trans modulator valve. Sucking trans fluid into motor and burning it. Look for the metal line coming from trans connected to intake with a short rubber line. Unplug that and see if it's wet.

Transmission fluid will create white smoke when it burns. I accidentally overfilled my C4 to the point where some was dripping out onto the header. LOTS of white smoke (thankfully, once it burned off a bit, everything was fine).

The Trans modulator thing will make it not go and buck when it does go?

Well, by your description, it was low on fluid which will cause it not to go. Make sure the fluid is at the correct level. Also if it is getting burned in the motor,(a good reason for the level to be low) it will most likely foul a plug or 2 which will cause a misfire (bucking).

Two different issues. Where's this plug go to? Cause he says the engine stopped and this was wrapped around one of the belt pulleys.

And about the bucking, please let me know how a complete non-mechanic can tell about the plugs fouled or anything like that? He can't even find the metal tube from the trans modulator from a description. He says the trans fluid is full.

Ok, he sent me a bunch of different pics. I'll post them all. Maybe someone can tell me if they see anything out of place.
