I don't plan on never replacing them again, just need them until I can find some correct ones.

Or I will one day upgrade to retractable 3-points up front to get rid of the double buckle, but no way am I going to sell my seat belts or throw them away, I keep everything.
If you really need something fast and functional, get the cheapest aftermarket set on ebay. Then shop for a real set of 69 belts in your spare time. Eventually, you will want NOS belts or at least used orig belts. Installing aftermarket seat belts are like installing aftermarket wipers or rear view mirrors. It's really obvious that they are replacements.

Swap meets and car shows are great places to look, but also check out Mustang clubs that have a website. You can easily shoot them a question or check their buyselltrade section. Also post your query on Mustang forums like this one. You never know who has a "buddy with the '69 Mach".

Carlos, Trico still makes stainless wipers for old cars. I sell them at work and have them on my car:P

That said, I'll call my buddy with the '69 Mach I and see if he still has his rear seat belts (he's not going to need them).
Yeah I'll try to go to a swap meet with my dad before school starts and look for a set, if not I may just find the cheapest set I can for the time being. That is unless your buddy has his rear seat belts, I'd be more than happy to put those to a good cause. Also, any word on that fold down seat?

When I get up to SLO I'll have to stop by and get some from you. The PO put on some black generic blades, I still have those pieces of crap attached to the original stainless arm. My dad's cobra jet has what seems to be the original blades and they look sweet.

Carlos, thanks again for the good advice, I'll look out for some originals for now and if I can't find them I'll get a cheap set for the rear only and continue looking!

Just a question, what's the difference between regular and deluxe seat belts?

haha your're right, i was even wondering that when I posted it but didn't bother to browse the site more since they do make seat belts like that.

68MustangCoupe, I'm not sure what he regular ones look like but the deluxe belts have buckles that are black camera case with a chrome trim and a push button.

Monsterbilly, I'll hopefully be there. I haven't been to Pomona swap meet yet, just the long beach one which is literally two blocks from my house. I'll hopefully be going the weekend of the 14th then, that'd be perfect.

I wish they would reproduce those seatbelts you want, I want them too. I think mostly everyone with a 69-70 would want them as well. If they could do a 3 point style with those buckles even better.

I've got the one step below those, black camera case without chrome trim. I really don't care for any of the available seat belts, I want original style. Yes, I could probably pull all my belts out, disassemble them, clean the webbings and reinstall them, but honestly I don't trust the webbing after 40 years and nobody around here will put new in for me. So until I can find good ones, I've got dirty, stiff 40 year old belts.
