Default 1967 Fastback

(keep in mind I just joined minutes ago)
Hello, im kind of new when it comes to Fords.

I recently purchased a '67 fastback and I am going to restore it.
I need to know the name of the black paint they used to spray the car with?
is it like a satin/flat black kind of paint? and will just any kind work?

Welcome to the forum.

Are you referring to the engine bay color? ARe you going for accurate reproduction of just a good rattle can color?

Rustoleum 7777 is a nice satin black that will look good in your engine bay.

I use POR-15 on all my floor pans, trunk pans, etc. It comes in flat black or gloss.
