Spools should not be on the street. They are hard on driveline parts period. We use them in race cars all the time (both straight line and oval track) but we check the rear end every few weeks too. In an oval car we change tire sizes to accommodate the spool through the corners.

You will simply wear out parts faster. Put in parts that will let the differential do what it needs to do.

Do you guys think I got busted up in the trade? What are the value of spools? Would I be able to get away with selling the spool and having cash to buy a traction loc unit?
