Try www.collectorautotrader.com

You didn't say what engine size, if you are looking for a local car or what condition you are looking for

Preferably a 289 smallblock and within 500 miles of Boston, and still runs good enough to drive it.

I'd sell ya mine, but it's too far outta your milage range, and I couldn't take less than 6k for it either. Still enogh left to do to consider a build car, but the engine/drivetrain is basically done.

Try picking up a mustang trader at a local gas station. I remember flipping through one a couple days ago and saw many up in NY. Theres were most of them tend to be at....but Northern cars mean more rust....youd be better off looking for one further south. Fl is a popular place as well as cali...but i dont think you wanna pay 2k shipping...

Even so, pick up a mustang trader catalog...theyre basically a paper version of collectorautotrader.
