Default Shelby Drop Template

Hey whats up guys, I just put on a 1" front sway bar and ordered a monte carlo bar that should be here in a couple days. The sway bar made a big difference and the monte carlo bar should do somthing but I want more and I decided it's time for the Shelby drop. There were some people here that were talking about using their templates and maybe selling them to others when they were done. My question is does anyone have the template they want to get rid of? I thought about making one but don't want to mess it up.

I got mine from John at Opentracker. It worked great for my 65' but it wouldn't work for your car. They are only like $10-15.

I'd get the bit and template from Day @ Dazecars. I've got both, but I need them for another local forum member still. That, and Jonward hasn't even given them back yet, lol.

oh on a sidenote. i never asked Daze about it, but the drillbit he sells is 17/32" which seems to be hard to get in the states. 17/32" is 13.494 mm, so if can get a good 13.5mm drillbit somewhere you might be good as well. I bought his drillbit before i calculated knowing I'll never get a 17/32 here

a 13 mm bit will work as well (that's about 0.51") if you're very careful. A 1/2" drill works if you're really careful. I had one side work great with two 1/2" holes, but the other wondered a little bit and i had to open one hole up to 17/32". I'd rather have it tighter than what two 17/32" holes create.

I used a 1/2" as well, both arms could go in and out, but it was a tad tight. I just used a small round file to open the holes up a tad towards the inside(that's where it was tight in my setup). Still ended up being pretty snug.
