429 cam help!!
Hey guys i have a 429 V-8 with C9AE heads on it and i was wondering how much lift can i go with a camshaft?
I was looking at a cam with 560/581 lift but i dont want to install it and then have it shove a valve through a piston.
the compression ratio is around 11.3:1 with the old heads (SCJ heads going to save them for an actual SCJ block).
Any info would be great!!!!!!!!!!
