Default GT500 Progress!

My GT500 is making its way to paint pretty soon... over the past two weeks we have been finishing most of the major body work and now I just have some little stuff to do. Hopefully it will be painted sometime within the next 2-3 weeks if we keep working at it. Hope you like the pics!

All glassed together:

I am going with a dark red metallic and silver stripes like this:

I'm not sure if you can notice in the picture but the silver actually has a tint of blue in the light that looks really nice!

Wow how beautiful! I love the colors. My fav part also is body and paint. I loved watching mine get all chopped up and put back together again

i gotta say man, you are very lucky to have a dad like that. i cant work on my car with my dad cause he just gets frustrated, starts cussing, and ends up walking off. like the time the motor mounts wouldnt line up...

car looks legit, cant wait to see it painted. i envy you haha

It's a beautiful car. Just make sure you get the body work done REALLY WELL. Like perfection status. Can't go back and fix it up without a huge hassle. If you're going to do it, do it right the 1st time.

Thanks for the comments guys. I am trying hard to get this done the best way I can and take the time to get it done right. I did a couple things different from how the car is supposed to be and I hope in the end it comes togather and looks nice. I am going to spend most of this weekend down at the shop sanding each panel piece by piece so hopefully it will all pay off in the end!! I strongly agree it's better off done right the first time. Saves you some time and money.

you'll hate the sandpaper before the day is out. at least you're doing it the proper way (guide coat)
