Very inteligent choice. Your 67 had an option for disk brakes, if you want to stay stock. Or you can do the Granada disk brake swap. Or a thousand other swaps. Just do a search for disk brakes. Or pick up any of the Mustang magazines. This will turn up a plethora (that means "a whole lot") of information.
Now for the second part, I'm sorry but I don't understand ebonics. Maybe you could try english so we might understand what your are trying to say.
Thank you and good luck,
Its alot of work to do a V8 swap right. There is all the drivetrain and brakes and Front and back springs and your steering linkage. I am sure there is more, thats just off the top of my head
paul,
i am almost done converting my I6 to a 5.0, its not nearly as hard as everyone suggests, if you already have a motor built the hardest part is over. as elementary as i can be here is what i have done:
motor mounts for 5.0 345 hp
complete front suspension rebuild to V8
rear end swap to 9' with 11' drums
5 lug wheels
adapter for tranny (this was most frustating part but you wont have to worry since you have a 67)
disc brake conversion for front including v8 spindles
that should have you runnin and safe...i have pricing on just about everything too

well prices can vary...i opted to not save much money
-complete suspension rebuild...$850...laurel mountain mustang-great kit!-
-front brake disc kit (with v8 spindles)...1,000-1,500...havent decided on mine yet -granada swap runs bout 600$ w/ new parts
-rear end...2,000...from currie...or you could go to a pick-a-part but i opted for the ford 9', you could find the standard 8 from any v8 ford.
aside from the motor i think you can get everything done for under 4,000 if you do a lot of the work yourself and do your homework on getting parts
doing most of the work myself so i dont know about labor

I'd take the C4 with a shift kit over the 3 speed. If you are trying to stay "Old School" or somewhat original, a 4 speed top loader would be my choice over the C4, only because I like to shift.
My first choice would be a 5 speed, but that's not too original.
Just depends on what you want your car to be when it's done.

but i got the 3 speed on the 6 inline, the c4 at my house and need to buy the 4 speed and a shift kit only 36.88. but a 5 speed only good for a daily driver the, 4 more for the races so much thing to do and no money to do it.
IF you are going to drag race it use the C4. You can put a manual valve body with a trany brake on it. With that, and a shift light tachometer you can be so consistent in your times that you'd clean up.
