mustang wont roll in neutral/engine off

yea try that. Like Gun Jam said it seems like a trans issue. Slide under the car to see if the shifter lines are still hooked up. it seems like its still in park. it might not be shifting to N

anybody know how to release the pressure in a standard 2 1/2 ton hydrolic car jack?

ah, thank you. I actaully watched the video on e-how lol...it sucks having to learn everything the hard way lemme go jack it up and get back to you guys..


when I spin the tires, I spin them forward or backwards and what am I looking for?

Put it in N and spin them any way if they dont move at all its the brakes that are locked up. If the wheels have play the Trans is still in park and the links must have fallen apart under the car or theres something wrong with the trans. i don't know much about transmissions im just saying out of things i did with my car.

its not the brakes then. check the links from shifter to trans under the car they're clearly visable maybe the links came apart

would a possible fic be to go buy 2 dollies, jack the front up, put the car on them and then slide it into my garage? It only needs to move forward about 15 feet, ie length of the car itself pretty much.
