I'm not sure I know what your referring to. There was no carpet in the trunk area. Do you have some type of custom kit?

I have no idea what the point of that would be. You would have to make templates and cut your material and use adhesive to hold them in place. That seems like a waste of time to me.

Those are always hand made. Get some thin plywood, some trunk liner cloth and spray glue... pretty easy.

I've seen people put insulation/sound deadeners inside the trunk lid. For the guys that put amps and speakers in their trunks and crank dance or mariachi music at the stoplights, I wish it was law!
The trunk floor and walls make more sense since they are thinner metal and would echo the road noise more.
It would be very easy to put carpet on the trunk lid. Just use paper or cardboard to make a custom template, transfer it to the carpet/fabric, cut out and glue it to the lid for a custom fitted pieces. I would think the only reason to do this would be to hide some silver sound deadener/insulating sheets.
If you look at car shows, you will see people cover these areas with carpet, chrome, wood veneers or even glass mirrors. To each their own.... But I don't think I have seen a carpet kit made specifically for the mustang. I would think it would be a custom, home-made piece.
