Do you mean from Shocks? what Year? On my 72 it wasn't too bad, but I was replacing the coils as well and that was the hard part. You can do the front shocks without removing the coils, on the 72 it is like 6 nuts/bolts if even that.

It has shocks and coil springs, unless it has been up-graded by someone. You can either rent, or buy a coil spring compressors at Auto Zone. Be careful, they are dangerous if they get away from you, so take it slow and keep all your body parts. Shocks are a piece of cake. KYB makes some Gas-Adjust that has 5 different settings from soft to no-give at all.

Changing shocks is a piece of cake and changing the springs does not require a compressor for a 69 if you do it right.

Yeah, there ain't no struts on classic Mustangs, just coil springs and shocks. The shocks take about a nano second to change. Why even bother with the coil springs unless you are either doing the Shelby drop or getting new factory specs coils? Hey Daniel, weren't you the one a few months ago who said you didn't need a coil spring supressor to install new coils?

Correct, it does not require one. My mistake typing too fast. Is there a way to make the font larger when entering new text? I have since edited my response to be consistent and true to my experience.
Thanks for pointing it out...
