Default I dded a tach

I had the instrument cluster out and added a 2 in tach into the clock hole. I also added a plug for the wires.

I stuck mine off to the side of the steering column.

Wayne- Just out of curiosity, what tach did you put in? Where did you get it?

Looks like the Sunpro Super Tach II you get from the auto parts stores. That is the one I bought except with a white face and that looks exactly like mine.

Yes, it is the Super II. It fits snugly, case and all, into the clock hole without cutting or modification.

Thats cool!

If I had a 67-68, I would get this.

I have a vintage style tach that I got from JCW in my 65. One of these days, I will get a rally pac.

How do you figure I ruined the dash. There was never a clock in the space. It was installed without any cutting, modifications, or changes.
I had it on the column for several years and it blocked the high beam indicator light. But as you said, 'that is my preference'
