Are you enjoying her as is or planning on a future of lost weekends?

Thats a really great looking car. I think I like the 67 -68 year body styles the best.

Future 347 or 351 in the works... i have both motors just cant decide on which to chose. I also have an AOD tranny and want to go with around a 3.73 gear. Other than that she is pretty much done.. maybe a better paint job one day.. my $500 do-it-yourself paint job is showing some flaws after 5 years.

347 vs 351.. im leaning toward 347 because all my accessories will go right back where they were.. 351 is out of a 1985 crown vic police interceptor.. and suggestions?

Nice and clean, kinda bullit looking. Looks like the Bay St. Louis/ Gulfport beach area?
I like the rocker stripes with no rocker panels. I see you tried it with and w/o the grill bars/pony, which do you prefer?
The last pic looks like a model, I like the way you focused on the door and left the F/R out of focus, was that on purpose? wish I knew more about photography...

i'd go for the 347. theoretically same torque/HP (depending on how they are built), but the 347 will be lighter in the front. If they are 'virtually the same' powerwise, i'd go for the 347 although i don't know anything about PI engines

It's actually the Ross Barnett Rez in Rankin County. That is my buddies Shelby.. which has recently had a fatality, but he got a new 09 just like it. I started out not having the pony bar in, but my father and other ford guys got me to put it back in.. I like it either way.. but it does look like something is missing without the bar. The last pic was from an iphone aka not very good camera... i like to play around with different angles to get some cool shots. when i get my new motor in, Ill have the size of the motor cut out in the stripe saying gt347.. or gt351.. which ever i decide to go with... thoughts?

I'm about 85% with you.. it would definalty be easier and a little lighter.. buuuut the 351 will also stroke out... i was thinking a 383.. yes, a 383 FORD... haha but that will cost a good bit. I plan to go with aluminum heads, forged pistons and rods, light weight eagle crank, a kinda wild cam and a victor jr intake.. i already have the carb. all that to go in front of a built AOD with 2400 stall and 3.73 rear gear
