I was thinking of clearcoating some of the small chrome emblems on my car to protect them because they are all new now and are being replaced. Just wondering if anyone has done this or thought of this and what if you think it'd be a good idea. Thanks!

 

What are you protecting them from?
The clear coat will yellow and flake-off way before unpainted chrome is damaged, unless you're driving in winter salt.
