Default sound healthy? :-)

i'm well pleased with how she's driving now, and i'll probably put in the new headers today (hooker super comp). the ones i have on now are too small to clear the exhaust ports of the heads (great for stock heads, but no good no more)

this is 2nd and 3rd gear, but i only floored 2nd when the car was straight as the wheelspin would throw the back out otherwise. In 1st the wheels spin like mad when i floor it, no matter what rpm :-) i might have been switching gears early as I don't have a tach at the moment

happy ... finally

Sounds great!!...just about the same as our '66. From the specs you list, it sounds like we have our cars set up in a very similar manner.

Ya. It's a blast to drive. Got the headers in. What a pita they are to mount though. Very bad quality. Spent 2 hours modifying them. Anyway. It was worth it

My Hookers are all but falling off the car now. Hang down WAY too low. They're notorious for fitting like crap. Fine for a track only car, but not for a driver. They're getting replaced with Doug's real soon.

height is actually ok on mine. Same as the headers before. But they come out in angle not straight. So the welder had to come out. The bolt holes didnt align. Had to remove rocker covers and use a good size hammer to get them into place. No matter what happens they're staying in now. No way I'm going to pull one if them anytime soon. But as said I'm happy they're in now. Even quicker. I was quite surprised. :-)
tad: for the outside there's a lot of wind noise. But I'll try window open. As well as camera behind car

Your car sounds really sweet...... and fun.

But I need to mention that you keep driving on the wrong side of the road......

Sounds really good. Now that you have it where you want it, you'll mess with it no further? LOL

had to laugh at that. the engine is ok now. maybe a few minor adjustments. i'll ontinue to monitor plugs. for the rest of the car:
- shelby drop
- replace uca and lower, all bushings
- x-pipe
- lots of POR15 and mats
- and fix a leak into the trunk

that's all for now. all cheap ! :-)
