sorry a very stupid question. will 289/302 exaust headers fit on 351w heads? if i rerember correctly they do but are not the same..

First of all, are the 351W heads on a 351W or a 289/302, and what year.

On a 65-66 mustang: For 289/302 with 351W heads i believe that the 289/302 headers will bolt up. If it is a 351W block than I believe the problem will be that width of the block will prevent you from using those headers.

 

well its a 67. and with a 351 block. as long as they bolt up thats all im worried about. they should clear the shock towers.
