Exclamation Help!

i have a 69 mustang coupe with a vinyl top that one of the owners installed themselves. The vinyl top is not factory. can someone help me remove it properly?

A good body shop will have the chemicals and experience to help you with this. Most likely the top will need to be repainted, and if any trim pieces were used (like the factory did), the holes will need to be closed up (welded or filled).

FWIW, a coupe sure looks classy with a vinyl top.

Well if I where you i would lift on edge of the vinyl and get a good glue remover and start striping and lifting from there. Like already mentioned you'll likely need to repaint the top. i do things a little different and would pull out my trusty angle grinder and a good 40 grit flap disk and go to work.

I also dnt know how to remove the chrome trim around the window pictures or videos would help thanks
